Work with me directly.
A small number of personal Fractional COO engagements each year, for companies between roughly $10M and $100M.
This isn't a product. It's me, as your second in command, until you don't need one.

There's a misconception about the word fractional.
It doesn't mean part-time consultant. It means stage-appropriate operator. Most growing companies don't need a full-time COO yet — but they do need someone running operations at a senior level, with full ownership, just not at full headcount cost.
A full-time COO usually makes sense around 50+ employees and revenue large enough to support a $300K+ all-in compensation package — typically $100M+ in revenue, sometimes earlier depending on operational complexity. Below that, fractional is the right structure. Between roughly $10M and $100M is where I work.
I become your second in command.
I run operations alongside you, with the authority and ownership of a real COO, until the systems don't run through you anymore.
Inside one engagement, the work usually moves through some combination of:
- Installing the operating systems your business is missing — decision architecture, process, financial model, accountability
- Setting up the team to run efficiently without you in every meeting
- Hiring your future Head of Ops or full-time COO, and handing the role off cleanly
- Transitioning into a Board Advisor seat once the operator I've placed is running it
The shape of the engagement depends on the stage of the company. Sometimes I stay as the fractional operator indefinitely. Sometimes my real job is to make myself unnecessary in twelve months. Both are good outcomes.
Owners. Founders, founder-CEOs, managing partners — people with skin in the game. Companies past the early-stage scramble, where the founder is the bottleneck and knows it.
I don't take pre-revenue. I don't take companies where the owner doesn't actually want to step out of operations — change is the whole job, and ambivalence costs everyone money.
If you've been through Efficiency Sprint, this is what comes next. If you haven't, that's fine — we can start here.
It starts with a conversation. We figure out if it's a fit on both sides. If it is, we agree on scope, cadence, and term.
Most engagements run six to twelve months. Some go longer. Some end with me handing off to a full-time hire and rotating into an advisory role.
Pricing scales with scope. I'm picky on purpose.
Tell me what's actually broken.
If what you actually need is a permanent second in command — a Chief of Staff, COO, Head of Ops — I keep a private list of operators I'd put in a room with my best clients.
